The LAME Encoding Engine allowes you to setup the MP3 encoding parameters that are used during recording. Mp3 encoding functions are only avaiable in the registered version.
General
Min Bitrate
The bitrate of the MP3 stream. Lower values means lower quality but smaller file sizes
Quality
The encoding quality
VBR
Enable Variable Bitrate
Enables VBR Mode. Some older MP3 Players might have problems to decode such a stream. But VBR means higher quality and lower file sizes.
VBR Quality
The Quality of the VBR encoding
Max Bitrate
The Maximal Bitrate of the VBR Stream. Min Bitrate in the "General Panel" specifies the minimum bitrate to be used for VBR. However, during silence, the smallest frame size available will be used.
All MP3 settings are saved on closing the application
