Play & Edit
Now you can forget the Slaves! Everything else can be controlled via the Master:
  1. Choose Sync-Points and put them into the  Sync List using the Position trackbar and the  SET Sync Button. On this Points the Master and Slaves stops. After the Sync-Time (1-2500ms) the Master initiates a new start at this point for himself and each Slave.
  2. After each edit of your Playlist on the Master be sure to send the Playlist again to the slaves using Menu File| Send... If you have setup different filenames on the slaves just use the Menu Command File| Send absolute Frames to Slave or File| Send relative Frames to Slave. This will keep the slaves filename entries unchanged.
  3. Use File| Send relative Frames to Slave if you have different File-Lengths or like to have different In-Points on each computer. You may choose different In-Points on each slave. Using this command filenames and In-Points keeps unchanged on each slave while the Out- and Syncpoints are set relative to the Positions defined by the Master.
  4. Press Rewind to reset all Master/Slaves. Press start and see your movie synchronized.
  5. Adjust the Sync Time Trackbar to the speed of your Computers. Use Shorter Time (more left) on faster Computers.
  6. Choose Loop-Mode and/or Fullscreen-Mode.  If you are in Fullscreen-Mode DblClick or Shift-Esc will bring you back to the interface.
  7. You can use Menu-Hot-Keys or self defined Filelist-Hotkeys to Start/Stop and Scroll thru the movie and files (May be Important if you like to make Photos of your installation or during live performance).
  8. If you like to trigger each Sync-Point manually, please check "Man. Trigger" Checkbox on Master and use the <Space> key to trigger playback. Use self defined Filelist-otkeys to jump to other files.
  9. If you have choosen a MIDI-In Port and had assigned a Midi-Key to a File you can trigger it by pressing the desired Key. Choose One Shot Mode in MIDI Menu to let the File run until you press a new Key.
  10. Use Auto-Start Checkbox for installations. Use an Alias of syncMaker in your Autostart-Folder to create full automatically boot-up (one-switch Museum solutions, they will love you!).
  11. Quit syncMaker to save all settings.
  12. Don't forget to register if you need this tool! Otherwise syncMaker will stop playback after a few minutes and does not allow storing the setup.
  13. Have fun !
