This section describes some ideas how to use syncMaker PRO in some strange ways that may be interesting for art installations:
- You may use smaller file lengths or In- Out- Settings on the Slaves than on the Master. This means that syncMaker stops earlier and wait until the Master reaches its Out-Point.
- You may use longer file lengths or In- Out- Settings on the Slaves. This means that the files are still running while the Master is waiting.
- You may use different numbers of Sync-Points on Master and Slaves. That means that the sequence of playing is changing every time. With this option you can create randomly sequences but also with synchronization.
- If you don`t use Fullscreen Playback you can define the position and size of each Video-Window for each Playlist Entry. Just track it to the desired position. The position and size of the Video Windows are stored inside the Playlist. With this feature you can create e.g. Desktop-Show where Video Files played around the Desktop.
- Think about using WLAN-Connections synchronizing playback on mobile Computers. People won`t believe what's going on and how it works!
- Using 5.1 AC3 Audio *.ac3 with or without VOB Files. You may like to use freeware ac3filter (find it on the net) to decode ac3 files on your computer. That means that you can setup up to six channel of audio on each connected computer. With that files, a cheap 5.1 sound card and syncMaker PRO you can build up cheapest impressive multispeaker setups (e.g. 5 computers = 30 channels!) .
