The VST(i) Bridges (only full version) allows you to connect the Audio-Inputs and Outputs from the running crusher application to a VST Host (e.g. Sequencers, Cubase).
Please refer to the documentation of your VST Host for details about the VST interface. Just copy the VST and VSTi DLL files (Bridges) that are included inside your crusher-X folder into your preferred VST plugins directory (mostly something like "c:\programs\steinberg\vstplugins" when working with Cubase VST). If a VST-Bridge is enabled inside the VST-Host and the VST-Host is processing audio, the VST-Bridge is automatically connected to the seperate running crusher-X Application. Please be sure that you enable the VST-Bridge and that the Host is processing audio in the bridges channel! After connected with the crusher the crusher starts running. A small VST-Logo in the "Run" panel will sign an enabled connection. Below you see the instance number of the bridge to which the connection is enabled. And now you can't start the crusher with his own ASIO Engine or DirectX Engine. For each instance of a running VST-Bridge you have to run a new crusher-X instance. So it is possible to use two or more crushers parallel with two ore more running VST-Bridges at the same time. You can identify the crusher and the belonging bridge by comparing the instance Numbers that are shown on the bridges and the crushers interface. This are the available bridges:
The demo version does not contain VST(i) bridges. Please register! |
