crusherX-Live! 4 support Multi CPU grain generation. That means a drastic increase of the grain amount in real time. A new very unique Vapor Overdrive section is added. It allows strange grain overdrive effects that are ideally used together with guitar input sounds. The overdrive curve can be edited via a new feature rich spline editor. The whole granular engine supports multichannel input processing so that stereo information of a signal is no longer ignored. Four more DCOs are added to support wider stereo DCO sound generation. All interface elements can be assigned to controllers thru an easy to use midi/joystick/vst parameter learning function. The VST Bridges now are able to send VST Parameters and MIDI to the main application. The crusher audio engine was reworked from 32bit integer to double processing that increases the sound quality and dynamic range. The new context sensitive help systems allows direct link to the various help topics. The crusher is now ready to use under Windows 7.
