Quicktime & mov containers |
|
Quicktime files (*.mov) are not natively supported by the windows DirectShow system. But there is a free 3dt party solution that enables Quicktime file playback for DirectShow. Do the following:
- Install Quicktime coming from Apple: http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/
- Install Quicktime source Directshow filter coming from medialooks: http://www.medialooks.com/products/directshow_filters/quicktime_filter.html
Note: syncMakers file open box currently hides *.mov files. Choose "All Files *.*" in Files of type" field to browse and open *.mov files.
