Choose the number of generators, the Window Type amplitude (Blackman, etc.) for each particle of sound generated by the buffer.
You can set up some Filter Modes (see the filter section in the crusher panel). To disable the filter select Bypass. To prevent noisy switching sounds between the grains, each grain is windowed by an envelope. This envelope can be selected in the Window Type list. Take a look at the Cloud 3D window to see a graphic representation of the windowing envelope. If you like the switching sounds between the grains, select a rectangular window. Choosing Spline from the list enables the Spline Editor. You can edit the Overdrive Spline by pressing the overdrive button. To desynchronize the generators use the Generator Offset Fader. Each generator starts after the specific offset time. This allows strange melody-effects using longer grains which don't overlap. Use Send Fader to route the stereo output of the vapor effect to the effect section or direct to the output. So you can adjust if the vapor sounds "wet" or "dry". |
